Japanese interpreter, published author, and educator, Mark and his wife invest their lives in the pursuit of quality experiences for family and guests. Raised in rural Pennsylvania, Mark lived in Japan, and ultimately settled in Sonoma, California. As a three-time Olympic interpreter and host, he knows service at that level and delivers it, daily. Mark specializes in wine country travel, music tours, and San Francisco Bay area excursions from Napa to Yosemite.

In my Glen Ellen Village, there is the 1300 year old “Grandfather” redwood tree tucked away in the Jack London State Park approximately a 60 minute walk into the forest from my backyard.
Sunday afternoon for me following a musical & community filled church service has me and my sweet wife playing Frisbee in the Sonoma Plaza which leads into picnic lunch and quality time on the hammock watching the grapes grow in our back yard.
My favorite traveling companion, Masako . . . wife and friend forever!
If you come to the Wine Country, you must know “It’s not about the alcohol.” There is so much more than wine, food, chocolate, flowers, cheese, agriculture, music, art! And wine, of course.
