LANCE STARIN
EXPERIENCE AMBASSADOR
Lance’s friends describe him as professionally eclectic, as he has successfully initiated and managed businesses in education (public speaking instructor, training consultant), private investigation, financial services, fitness, and tourism. In 2008, Lance discovered his passion: professional raconteur. Today, his purpose is sharing stories while exploring the San Francisco Bay area with his wife and dog, the home he chose 35 years ago after living abroad for much of his life.

"Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things: air, sleep, dreams, sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it." Cesare Pavese
"…in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddam mountain." Jack Kerouac
