Barbara Dimas

Inspired by family recipes, self-taught culinary savant, Barbara, seized the opportunity to cook for her family in childhood. Following her degree at UC Berkeley she refined her culinary specialties during life abroad in Germany and Italy, then back in California during her eight years as Resident Chef at Sur La Table she managed events and classes with famous chefs and cookbook authors. Today, she shares her passion via multi-generational cooking classes and neighborhood exploration with an eye on the influence of San Francisco cuisine on its culture.
