Patti’s continued interest in history and travel, combined with her enjoyment of being with people, provided the catalyst for becoming a tour guide. Even though she has lived in Southern California for most of her life, she is still amazed at how every event, newly travel backroad or venue can still quench her thirst for learning something new. She is further energized when she can share these insights with guests who visit San Diego.

San Diego, California

Aisle or Window

Window on a long flight, and an aisle on a short flight.

Hidden Gem

Bayview Park, Coronado Island. It provides a private, peaceful view of the San Diego harbor & skyline.

Ideal Sunday

Personally, having earned the afternoon doing nothing (laundry is done, yardwork done, paperwork done, follow-up emails done..I think you get it). This nothing means usually reading on my patio with a glass of wine (ok sometimes still in my pajamas).

Travel Item

A book or magazine, and my electric toothbrush.

You Must Know

How the city got its name and how it fits into the bigger picture.

Bucket List

Domestically, I only have four more states to visit. Internationally, it changes when I read about a new destination. Today, it is Peru.

My Role

Having Bespoke guests say: "I would have never known to come to this place… this is so cool."
