Our goal through May and June (OK, who are we kidding…it’s our goal EVERY month), is to hit the streets in an attempt to experience as many bars and restaurants as our waist-bands and taste buds will accommodate. Fortunately, the weather is gorgeous so we can get outside to work-off the excess calories. We’ve heard tell of a pop-up restaurant scene, invite-only speak-easy-style bars that take over personal residences with guest bartenders, food-truck festivals circling the various neighborhoods, a porch-crawl fundraiser sponsored by various restaurants/bars, and of course, we need to taste-test the well-established hot spots we’re recommending to our elite clients. It’s no wonder, at all, that New Orleans is a food Mecca.
